Descripción
Sumario:The article analyzes the conversion process to the Protestantism of the members of a community that offers social attendance to men, women and children of urban-marginal sectors in Quito, Ecuador. The focus is on the incidence of this community in the social, practical relationships, behaviors and way of life of its members, especially for those to whom the institution has become an option of life, its way to “serve to the Lord”. That takes us to reflection on the complex process that happens among the entrance to a new world (that is not free of contradictions) and the change in the life of people.
