Sumario:The current paper analyses the importance and implications of the University Social Responsibility and how implementation of the National Program Amartya Sen (PAS) contributes to reach it, deepening in the impact generated in the interest groups: students, volunteers, communitarian organizations and beneficiaries of implemented social projects. The experience carried out since 2011 in the Economic Sciences Faculty of Cuyo National University is based on the training of “multiplying young people" on progressive ideas in the world about inclusive development and on managing in the public and private area with responsibility. The ethics and social responsibility are main axes of the Program, in the search of a society that faces poverty and inequality and promotes the well-being of all the community, bearing in mind the economic aspects as well as the social and environmental ones. The experience includes teaching activities and projects named “Ideas for the Local Development", they were made by students applying contents learnt during their studies and the development of PAS and they are carried out together with social organizations and University volunteers in vulnerable areas of Mendoza
