Sumario:This paper proposes the design of a Human Resources Management System for several companies in different sectors of Cartagena city, with the intention of they integrally managing their activities related to the processes of linking, training, professional development, and compensation of managers, technicians, and workers. The identification, measurement, management, and linkage variables showed a good level, highlighting the analysis of the workplace, the presence of standardized measurement standards and the validation of performance evaluations. Regarding Training and Professional Development, it was evident that -to a large extent- the companies under study have training and professional development programs. Regarding the Compensation process and its relation with the performance evaluation, it was observed that there are weak linkages.
