Sumario:Traditionally, port activity had influenced in its environment, and even more within a city. By this, it has been referred as a process that has to be revisited considering new perspectives towards reducing environmental and social impacts, improving working conditions and an adequate use of resources. At the same time, sustainability is a key element to guarantee access to goods and services. This research propose an evaluation and planning framework for improvement as fundamental for the sustainable development of port activities.
