description The accelerated development of ICT poses a great challenge for all education institutions, involving higher education institutions and consequently the Palmira sectional UPB (Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana), which, according to national policies, proposes the extension of policies of appropriation of ICT in teaching and learning processes. The exercise supports definitions of didactics and curriculum at a historical and institutional level, on the other hand the postmodern concept of the information society that places great importance on knowledge and proposes a new economic dynamics, a term that is based on the general theory of systems and as a complement to the levels of ICT competencies for teachers defined by UNESCO. This allows us to review the curricular transformation exercise that is currently being carried out in the institution, and in a way facilitates the correct integration of ICT in the curriculum.

El acelerado desarrollo de las TIC propone gran reto para todas las instituciones de educación, involucrando en ello a las instituciones de educación superior y consecuentemente a la UPB (Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana) seccional Palmira, que acorde a las políticas nacionales propone la extensión de las políticas de apropiación de las TIC en los procesos de enseñanza y de aprendizaje. El ejercicio se soporte definiciones de didáctica y currículo a nivel histórico e institucional, por otro lado el concepto posmoderno de sociedad de la información que entrega gran importancia al conocimiento y propone una nueva dinámica económica, término que se apoya en la teoría general de sistemas y como complemento los niveles de competencias en TIC para docentes definidos por la UNESCO. Lo anterior permite revisar el ejercicio de transformación curricular que actualmente se adelanta en la institución, y de manera facilita la correcta integración de las TIC en el currículo.
