Sumario:The accelerated development of ICT poses a great challenge for all education institutions, involving higher education institutions and consequently the Palmira sectional UPB (Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana), which, according to national policies, proposes the extension of policies of appropriation of ICT in teaching and learning processes. The exercise supports definitions of didactics and curriculum at a historical and institutional level, on the other hand the postmodern concept of the information society that places great importance on knowledge and proposes a new economic dynamics, a term that is based on the general theory of systems and as a complement to the levels of ICT competencies for teachers defined by UNESCO. This allows us to review the curricular transformation exercise that is currently being carried out in the institution, and in a way facilitates the correct integration of ICT in the curriculum.
