At present, cosmetic companies are adapting to new changes and trends in the market, including aspects such as natural products without any type of chemicals such as essential oils, among others. This allows to expand markets, facilitating both production and distribution, as well as commercialization in geographic sectors that demand them, and in this way to gain opportunities for business growth. Taking into account the above, the Group: Marketing and Advertising Research Center CIMEP of the University of Santander-UDES, Bucaramanga Headquarters, and National Research Center for the Agro-industrialization of Tropical Aromatic and Medicinal Plant Species-CENIVAM and its group of CIBIMOL Research, come together to develop this research project approved by COLCIENCIAS in call 543-2011, product of the temporary union REDRed-CO-CENIVAM WITH THE BIOPROSPENTION AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF NATURAL INGREDIENTS FOR THE COSMETIC, PHARMACEUTICAL AND PRODUCT INDUSTRIES OF TOILET BASED ON COLOMBIAN BIODIVERSITY (9 National Universities) participating in support of the project "Development and formulation of new cosmetic and personal hygiene products (Chicamocha Magic initiative) based on natural active ingredients isolated from promising Colombian tropical plants" seeking to present new marketing alternatives, which pe It empowers the essential oil-based cosmetics industry to offer new products, which are distributed and consumed in the companies that provide tourist services on the Bucaramanga-Bogotá route, improving the offer of said products so that they respond to the needs of the hotel's guest. globalized world. Esta ponencia-proyecto, presenta los resultados y avances de investigación del proyecto titulado: Estrategias de comercialización y comunicación para los productos cosméticos derivados de plantas aromáticas que se consumen en los establecimientos turísticos de la ruta Bucaramanga-Bogotá de aceites esenciales. En la actualidad las empresas de cosméticos vienen adaptándose a los nuevos cambios y tendencias del mercado, incluyendo aspectos tales como productos naturales sin ningún tipo de químicos como los aceites esenciales, entre otros. Esto permite expandir los mercados, facilitando tanto la producción y distribución, como comercialización en sectores geográficos que los demandan, y de esta forma ganar oportunidades para su crecimiento empresarial. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, el Grupo: Centro de Investigaciones de Mercadeo y Publicidad CIMEP de la Universidad de Santander-UDES, Sede Bucaramanga, y Centro Nacional de Investigaciones para la Agro industrialización de Especies Vegetales Aromáticas y Medicinales Tropicales-CENIVAM y su grupo de Investigación CIBIMOL, se unen para desarrollar este proyecto de investigación aprobado por COLCIENCIAS en la convocatoria 543-2011, producto de la unión temporal REDRed-CO-CENIVAM CON EL PROGRAMA DE BIOPROSPENCCIÓN Y DESARROLLO DE INGREDIENTES NATURALES PARA LAS INDUSTRIAS COSMÉTICA, FARMACEUTICA Y DE PRODUCTOS DE ASEO CON BASE EN LA BIODIVERSIDAD COLOMBIANA ( 9 Universidades Nacionales) participantes en apoyo al proyecto “Desarrollo y formulación de nuevos productos cosméticos y de aseo personal (Chicamocha Magic initiative) con base en ingredientes naturales activos aislados de plantas tropicales promisorias colombianas” buscando presentar nuevas alternativas de comercialización, que permita a la industria de cosméticos a base de aceites esenciales ofrecer nuevos productos, los cuales se distribuyan y consuman en las empresas prestadoras de servicios turísticos de la ruta Bucaramanga-Bogotá, mejorando la oferta de dichos productos para que respondan a las necesidades del huésped del mundo globalizado. Esta nueva oferta de productos cosméticos a base de aceites esenciales se realizará según los resultados que arroje el estudio de la demanda en las empresas prestadoras de servicios turísticos objeto de estudio.
