Sumario:This presentation-project presents the results and research advances of the project entitled: Marketing and communication strategies for cosmetic products derived from aromatic plants that are consumed in tourist establishments on the essential oils Bucaramanga-Bogotá route. At present, cosmetic companies are adapting to new changes and trends in the market, including aspects such as natural products without any type of chemicals such as essential oils, among others. This allows to expand markets, facilitating both production and distribution, as well as commercialization in geographic sectors that demand them, and in this way to gain opportunities for business growth. Taking into account the above, the Group: Marketing and Advertising Research Center CIMEP of the University of Santander-UDES, Bucaramanga Headquarters, and National Research Center for the Agro-industrialization of Tropical Aromatic and Medicinal Plant Species-CENIVAM and its group of CIBIMOL Research, come together to develop this research project approved by COLCIENCIAS in call 543-2011, product of the temporary union REDRed-CO-CENIVAM WITH THE BIOPROSPENTION AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF NATURAL INGREDIENTS FOR THE COSMETIC, PHARMACEUTICAL AND PRODUCT INDUSTRIES OF TOILET BASED ON COLOMBIAN BIODIVERSITY (9 National Universities) participating in support of the project "Development and formulation of new cosmetic and personal hygiene products (Chicamocha Magic initiative) based on natural active ingredients isolated from promising Colombian tropical plants" seeking to present new marketing alternatives, which pe It empowers the essential oil-based cosmetics industry to offer new products, which are distributed and consumed in the companies that provide tourist services on the Bucaramanga-Bogotá route, improving the offer of said products so that they respond to the needs of the hotel's guest. globalized world.
