Sumario: | In Colombia, peace pedagogies (PP) have had a long and unknown trajectory. Some results of a qualitative and bibliographic investigation are presented examining the concepts, history, and practices of PP. The relation between PP in Colombia with social movements and community experiences are considered, as well as its legal and institutional settings, and the relation to the recent peace Agreement between the national Government and Farc-Ep. Three final topics arise as points of contention: hegemonic peace, the deconstruction of the image of the enemy, and peace as a mere course subject. This work reveals just a few educational and pedagogical initiatives that strive for peace in Colombia, demonstrating the need for more empirical and theoretical investigation and documentation of such initiatives.
