Sumario:This paper proposes to explore the strategies of legitimation that were deployed in a space bounded local during the first stage of the so-called "National Reorganization Process" in Argentina. From a vision focused on the actors, in the analysis of speech, and in the local history will be analyzed the speeches that officials and personalities of national importance, provincial and local made during the First International Exhibition that took place in the city of Buenos Aires (Juní­n) in October 1977. They try to envision the ideals and representations constructed around the figure of the agricultural producers of the mayors and municipalities, as well as links with the symbolic dimension of authoritarian project which sought to sustain that dictatorship
