“…It looks at a public art project that brought together my anthropological research on youth, memory, violence and place in Medellín, the public art work of visual artist Suzanne Lacy, the community work of a coalition of several local government and non government organizations and the leadership of a group of residents from Barrio Antioquia in Medellin (Colombia). The community art project created a museum of memory in a public transit bus as a meaningful place that activated processes of individual and collective mourning and that invited individuals and the community to envision the future and address issues of mourning, pacific co-existence and reconciliation.…”
