Debido a las características particulares del mundo en el que nos encontramos se hacen especialmente importantes los análisis de inteligencia. En el presente trabajo se discute cómo funciona la mente humana en los análisis de inteligencia, centrando el objetivo en la incertidumbre, las valoraciones de la prueba, los juicios bajo presión y las limitaciones de tiempo, analizando cómo la estructura de nuestra maquinaria mental influye y constriñe los análisis de inteligencia. Nos ocuparemos del funcionamiento de la mente humana, y qué limitaciones encuentra centrándonos en cómo estas características cognitivas afectan a los analistas de inteligencia, cuando no se basan en hechos sesgados; además del impacto que el tiempo y la presión tienen en la exactitud de los resultados.
