Sumario:The article explores the transformations that took place in the agrarian social structure of the pears and apples productive circuit in North Patagonia as a result of the globalization process. We intend to identify the key transformations in terms of the social relations involved in the circuit, exploring the new agrarian question. The article is organized in four sections: the first consists in the presentation of the problem of investigation, the second presents the results from a bibliographical search on the effects of globalization on the agrarian question in Latin America, the third section explores the evolution of the most important export markets, the characteristics and strategies of producers and intermediaries in the light of the previous information. In the last section, we present preliminary conclusions, the result of the investigation. This research is based on previous studies and a review / systematization of secondary sources (academic bibliography, public reports and newspaper articles).
