Sumario:Nine walnut varieties are described with special reference to the sprouting time, floral compatibility and tree and fruit characteristics. In the fruits, the percentage of almond in regard to the husk and number of almond per kilo of dried fruit is pointed out. The varieties Mayette, Franquette and Wilson Wonder are noted because of their late sprouting and Payne Seedling and Rama Caída on account of their organoleptic characteristics.
