Sumario:In this paper the use of Marxian concepts in Scott Meikle’s interpretation of Aristotle's economic thought is shown. It ís very well known that Marx quotes Aristotle in his works. The paper argües that Meikle’s thesis are mainly a development of Marx’s ones. The mistakes in Marx’s interpretations of Aristotle and their influence on Meikle are highlighted. Thus, the answer to the question, Was Aristotle a Marxist in Economics? proves negative.
