Sumario:This article seeks to describe the interference of cybernetics as a key intervening factor in the consolidation of information as a power resource in the 21st century. Aware that information is the main substrate for the practice of intelligence, the studies carried out also seek to understand the transformations generated by the inclusion of cyberspace in this practice, highlighting how the particular characteristics of this domain are responsible for generating new demands to States in terms of defense and security. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, this paper is structured into three main discussion topics. The first one will hold a brief discussion about the particular characteristics of this new domain and its political significance to International Relations. The second topic will deal directly with the issues of intelligence and an evaluation of the interference of cyberspace in the intelligence practice will be carried out focusing on the study of the North American - dedicating a third topic to such discussion.
