Security is not just a strategy, but a need that results in a feeling from which people give meaning to each one of the actions that takes place both in the private and in the public fields, both individually and collectively. From this perspective, my contribution tries to analyse anthropologically how this concept relates with the modules of culture and so understand the current situation in complex societies. Universidad Politécnica Salesiana (Ecuador) 2013-12-30 info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion application/pdf https://universitas.ups.edu.ec/index.php/universitas/article/view/19.2013.03 10.17163/uni.n19.2013.03 Universitas; No. 19: (july-december 2013); 73-100 Universitas; Núm. 19: (julio-diciembre 2013); 73-100 1390-8634 1390-3837 10.17163/uni.n19 spa https://universitas.ups.edu.ec/index.php/universitas/article/view/19.2013.03/757 Derechos de autor 2016 Universidad Politénica Salesiana
