Sumario:The transformations in everyday life as a result of the pandemic represent a fertile field of research. The participation of the Internet and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in everyday experience has deepened, so its impact on the population sectors has been heterogeneous. Hence, the objective of this research is to identify the changes in the relationship between youth and technology in terms of use, connection time, device used and its relationship with the domestic space during the pandemic in Mexico. For this, a theoretical framework is articulated from cultural studies in order to show the relevance of ICTs and the Internet in the condition and experience of youth, which during the pandemic expanded their functions and allowed maintaining and creating the sociality of mexican young people. The methodology used has a mixed approach with a group of mexican university students (N=29), where blogs and a focus group were used. Among the results, it stands out that the educational activities have increased the connection time, but redistributed its purpose. Finally, it is recognized that the room of the participants becomes the strategic space from which the youth experience in the pandemic is articulated as school, family and socialization activities overlap in the same place.
