Sumario:This work is a review and analysis of the different forms or models of international development cooperationand a proposal on the tasks that Social Work can perform in each of them. We can justify ourreview of these two themes, because, in the first topic, we find a great theoretical dispersion. Regardingthe second topic, there is a growing presence of social workers in this new social environment. The goalsof this work are to analyze the different forms of cooperation and describe the functions of social workin each of them. The process used has been carried out in two ways. On the one hand, we have drawn onthe authors’ own experience in the field of international cooperation. And on the other, we have reviewedthe different models offered by development institutions.
