Sumario:This text encompasses reflections generated from experiences concerning the research: Memory as an element in the formation of the Lloa community, from the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana. That research was conducted inside the Lloa community and includes different narratives and additional reflections concerning the population that resides within the city limits of Lloa and Maurice Halbwachs and Henry Bergson about memory. The analysis characterizes experiences from standpoints that run the gamut from the conception of the people who live in Lloa to the ethical-political implications of the project`s participants chiefly concerning memory. Recontextualizations of narrative experiences concerning suicide and the manner one community in Quito understand its impact.
