Se propone fundamentar, ejemplificar y analizar cuatro dimensiones positivas, devenidas de la emigración internacional de ecuatorianos en dirección a los Estados nacionales más desarrollados del Hemisferio Boreal, de manera preferente Estados Unidos y España, las mismas que repercuten en beneficio del sujeto protagonista del desplazamiento poblacional y de su entorno familiar más inmediato, en el país de origen y en el de llegada, las mismas que aluden a la memoria, como la principal arma contra el olvido; los ineludibles cambios culturales producto de la interacción en el país de destino; la creación artística de los emigrantes o de alguno de sus familiares; y, los pensamientos y acciones de los emigrantes ecuatorianos como “arquitectos de su propio destino”.
