Sumario:This paper gives an overview of the situation of the policies that promote renewable energies in Spain, with special emphasis on photovoltaic solar energy (solar PV) due to it exponential growth in these past years. The different instruments used in the public policy will be explain and the relevant legislation will be also discussed. In turn, taking into consideration the different actors involved in this policy. Being a highly current topic, following the energy reform, it has been made a brief analysis of the present situation and the possible consequences that this reform could have on renewable energy.
