Sumario:This study explores the complex relationship between financialization and inequality in income distribution, which occurs in different dimensions. The concept of financialization is presented with a broad perspective to better understand its definitions. It is then analyzed in relation to inequality, examining alternatives such as increasing returns on financial capital, based on the maximization of shareholder value, as opposed to offering higher wages or wage stagnation. In addition, the study also looks at household debt and its effect on their future disposable income in the medium and long term.
