Sumario:The present research work aims to analyze the relationship of social, economic and environmental dimensions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), with the competitiveness in the logistics sector in Cartagena de Indias. Surveys were applied to the managers of twelve firms chosen for convenience and the statistics of kurtosis, data asymmetry, correlation analysis, principal component analysis and graph of variables were applied, using the statistical software (R). A high percentage of firms that barely handle general ideas about CSR and those that do not develop social and environmental projects. Additionally, the statistics calculated were significant in terms of data concentration, with a high correlation of the economic and social dimension with competitiveness. A strong relationship between the dimensions of CSR and competitiveness is concluded, highlighting the greater correlation with the economic and social dimensions. Results suggest that the impact of CSR on firms’ competitiveness is focused on increasing productivity, maximizing profits and attracting the best employees. In addition, firms that barely handle general ideas of CSR, added to those that do not develop social and environmental projects, suggest important opportunities for this economic sector to increase competitiveness, based on CSR.
