Sumario:In the eighties, the structure of the Colombian government contrasted with the developments of some internal settings. The international dynamics and the end of the welfare state was replaced by the neoliberal economic model, with markets as fundamentals in the the process of globalization. In this setting, the education plays an important role as an instrument, and the Law 30 of 1992 put the education into a level according the new dynamics of the globalized world.Key Words: state, welfare, model, education, globalization
