| Sumario: | The concern for the improvement and quality assessment of higher education in Colombia, generated a series of policies and actions that led to the establishment of the system of quality assurance of higher education SACES. One of the regulators in this system, the National Council for Accreditation CNA, which establishes guidelines for the accreditation of programs and institutions.
