description A major contribution offered by system dynamics is that it allows a system scan understanding the causes and effects generated by their behavior, detailed through a series of variables and relationships framed in a quantitative model. This understanding in detail the linkages between variables, the researcher provides tools to anticipate possible future states of the system, based on this, anticipate alternative solutions. This article introduces the reader to the analysis of the supply chain from the perspective of system dynamics, with reference to the famous "Beer Game" to understand the average behavior of a supply chain through observation the actions of those involved in it. The result achieved in this research sheds its own model of supply chain which will allow, perform experiments or to simulate scenarios to visualize the effect of one variable on another.Key Words: Simulation methods, organization of production, analysis of production.

Universidad de Cartagena 2010-01-01 info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion application/pdf https://revistas.unicartagena.edu.co/index.php/panoramaeconomico/article/view/394 10.32997/2463-0470-vol.18-num.18-2010-394 Panorama Económico Journal; Vol. 18 (2010); 133-152 Panorama Económico; Vol. 18 (2010); 133-152 Panorama Económico; v. 18 (2010); 133-152 2463-0470 0122-8900 10.32997/2463-0470-vol.18-num.18-2010 spa https://revistas.unicartagena.edu.co/index.php/panoramaeconomico/article/view/394/346 /*ref*/Forrester J.
