Given the above, we develop The conceptualization and construction of a General Quality Management System Model that make easy the analysis and design, that will contribute the criteria of development of steps, tools and structures within we will be able to design and put into practice the Quality Management System for any program in research and with them being able to determine necessary structures for the establishment of organizational process that facilitate the study, analysis, design and re-design of process, obtaining contribution with the improvement of them, establishing the bases to accomplish institutional accreditation.Key Words: System Quality Management, Standard ISO 9001, Guidelines from the National Accreditation Council (CNA).

En este trabajo se presentan los resultados asociados con el componente metodológico y conceptual referentes al proyecto de investigación titulado DISEÑO DE UN SISTEMA DE GESTIÓN DE LA CALIDAD MODELO PARA LOS PROGRAMAS ACADÉMICOS, considerando los requerimientos de la norma ISO 9001 y los lineamientos del Consejo Nacional de Acreditación (CNA).
