description This article proposes a new perspective on the conception of entrepreneurship based on Charles Sanders Peirce’s concept of real possibility. The new perspective that is proposed seeks to contribute to the understanding of what is known as entrepreneurship. In the Peircean conception of experience, to experience something it is not necessary for this something to really happen or to act according to its event, as it is often the case with explanations of entrepreneurship. Experience, in this conception (the Peircean conception), corresponds to a habit or rule of action that occurs in the face of real events. Thus, we consider that the current meanings of entrepreneurship are based on that given concept of experience and not as proposed here, on “experience” as a rule of action, a habit, which occurs in the face of a conceivably real event even when the moment does not happen.

Peirce Contreras Palacios, Fred Davinson entrepreneurship Peirce emprendimiento Peirce This article proposes a new perspective on the conception of entrepreneurship based on Charles Sanders Peirce’s concept of real possibility.
