Sumario:Traditionally, economic growth models did not include human capital among its variables, focusing on other factors such as changes in savings, investment, demographics, and so on. However, at the end of the twentieth century, it was determined that it was necessary to include human capital in the models of economic growth, because it is one of the most valuable factors contributing to the dynamisation of development. In this article, we intend to demonstrate the role of the University of Cádiz as a dynamic agent of the local production system of the aeronautical sector in the province of Cádiz. The results can facilitate the setting up of mechanisms and guide the implementation of new collaborative projects between the university and the sector, so as to minimize their impact in times of economic crisis such as the current one.
