Sumario: | Infrastructure investments have a significant effect on the industrial, territorial and economic development of regions and nations. Hence, in the present document, through cluster analysis an assessment of such effects on the Spanish Autonomous Communities is carried out. Variables such as infrastructure investmentper capita; infrastructure investment by areas; growth of GDP per capita, average unemployment rate, and number of enterprises per 1000 population on average during the crisis period (2007-2013) and the postcrisis period (2014-2015), to identify the fundamental role that infrastructure investments have played in the Spanish regional economies.
