Sumario: | The current crisis is changing behavior patterns and is designing a new socio-economic structure in relation to the territorial response to these new situations. This crisis has particularly affected Spain within the European Union and its different Autonomous Communities (CCAA), including Andalusia, and the province of Cádiz, causing economic and social changes. The municipality of Jerez de la Frontera, presents significant socioeconomic changes revealing a new scenario in the user profile of social benefits and their impact at the territorial level. Given the relevance of this municipality in the productive structure of the province, the situation of poverty in Jerez de la Frontera (2009-2014) is analyzed, establishing different poverty classifications such as chronic poverty, recurrent transient and not recurrent.
