| Sumario: | This article presents a detailed evolution of the items and financing instruments of the Spanish public debt between 1996 and 2015. According to the revision of the Official Bulletins of Debt of the Bank of Spain, it was observed that the public debt items have increased considerably to the point where it is observably a statistically significant differential in many of them and with higher variability when the conservative-liberal Popular Party rules. These results are presented through an exploratory, descriptive and comparative study regarding two relevant factors: the political party in power and the economic cycle phase. |
