In order to validate this model, we analyzed, through the empirical study solved by the Structural Equation model, three universities (publics and privates) with a total sample of 400 students. The results agreed on a model with statistical validity, whose main result is the identification of a significant causal effect between the students’ perceptions, satisfaction and intentions concerning the future.

Dentro de los esfuerzos que realizan las Instituciones de Educación Superior por alcanzar un nivel de calidad acorde a los tiempos se deben analizar, entre muchos aspectos, la satisfacción de los estudiantes, como un indicador para valorar dicha calidad. El presente artículo tiene como principal objetivo, proponer un modelo teórico para valorar los factores que afectan la satisfacción y posibles intenciones futuras de los usuarios. Para validar el modelo, se analizaron 3 universidades (públicas y privadas) con una muestra total de 400 estudiantes, a través de un esquema empírico resuelto mediante Modelos de Ecuaciones Estructurales. Los resultados acordaron un modelo con validez estadística, cuya principal conclusión es la identificación de un efecto causal significativo entre las percepciones, la satisfacción y las intenciones futuras de los estudiantes.
