Sumario:This paper is a reflection of the relationship man has had with nature, ecology and with himself. This relationship, in a contemporary global scene, presents challenges and needs due to the abuse of man’s dominion, causing destruction on itself. Given the evidence and the magnitude of humans’ harmful impacts, humanity has begun to question that what is being done with nature is not legitimate; an ethical concern which led us to the care of it and the need to pursue development in new forms of relationships. In order to carry out this study, we did a conceptual analysis about the relation between the environment, nature and ecology, in which man as an actor, facilitator and who is responsible for adopting a better understanding aimed at building a system where humans can recognize as being part of nature in pursuance of overcoming the precariousness of life and placing it in a privileged position. Methodologically, our study is mainly bibliographic and documentary, supported by previous researchers such as Ewald (relation of power and knowledge), Boff (association-based natural language), and Morin (ecosystems). In the theories, mentioned above, we could see a mutual knowledge, through a comprehensive analysis about how the human-nature relationship is structured.
