Sumario: | The main of this article is to identify the relationship between self-efficacy and So[1]cial Support in people with multiple sclerosis. Materials and methods: a cross-sectional correlational study, with a non experimental design, using a non probabilistic sample, of homogeneous type counting with a population of 40 people with multiple sclerosis. We used Rigby, Domenech, Thornton, Tedman, y Young (2003) and the Multidimensional Scale of perceived social support of Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet and Farley (1988) with a Likert type response mode validated by Arechabala and Miranda (2002). In addition, an interview card was used with the dimensions of adherence to treatment, family support, aspects of the condition, consumption of alcohol and tobacco and physical exercise. Results: the Pearson correlation coefficient test show that in this population there is no relationship between social support and self-efficacy
