| Sumario: | Changes in the notions of improving people’s living conditions, especially in the twentieth century, have brought about the emergence of various concepts such as development, well-being and economic growth. These three approaches are usually taken as synonyms; however, they are conceptions that start from different contexts and that were developed under a different logic. This article discusses the approaches that have been given to such perspectives and the challenges they face if they are to be taken as equals. |
