Este artículo retoma la identificación de las representaciones sobre la paz que han construido comunidades con diferentes experiencias y conocimientos sobre el conflicto en Colombia. Encontrándose que los integrantes de comunidades en situación de desplazamiento se representan la paz desde categorías inductivas de orden emocional y categorías psico-sociales. La paz, construcción de la sociedad civil como categoría deductiva se encuentra ausente y no como ausencia del conflicto, a pesar de ser víctimas del mismo y haber vivido el desarraigo de sus tierras, la pérdida de su núcleo familiar y sus redes sociales, entre otras situaciones.
