El proceso de Investigación Científica tiene la Gestión de Información como un aspecto fundamental en su desarrollo. Gestionamos Información tanto antes de la definición de los elementos metodológicos esenciales del proyecto, como para el desarrollo del mismo y también con la difusión de los resultados. La difusión de los resultados viene dada por la Comunicación Científica, que se produce de diversas formas, como son conferencias, ponencias en congresos, publicaciones periódicas y libros. La actualización de la actividad científica depende en gran medida de la incorporación de nuevas herramientas y el empleo de las nuevas tecnologías. El presente trabajo aborda la problemática de las fuentes de contenidos para las publicaciones científicas, dificultad muy generalizada, sobre todo en los investigadores más jóvenes, que es la identificación de aquellos elementos de los estudios que pueden y deben ser comunicados al resto de la comunidad científica y al mundo académico conformado por profesores y estudiantes.
