En la justicia, el Otro logra plenamente su reconocimiento, sus derechos en comunidad, pues para Cohen (2004), la justicia es el principio y fundamento del Estado y la comunidad social, que garantiza la paz social, la cual aporta su definición original: la perfección plena, la cual se ha de cultivar frente a todos los seres humanos sin exclusión alguna.
