Sumario:The aim of this article is to explain how the motivational factor is a key strategy for the business world; for what the working conditions of the nineteenth century (1801-1900) and the structural changes that have been generated at the organizational level and human resources are considered. Additionally, here it is analyzed if the salary (monetary compensation) is the only motivational factor itself or integrated with other variables, it is possible to have a highly motivated staff, thus becoming a competitive advantage for the organization.
