| Sumario: | The Breastfeeding is unique and has an important value for the mother and the infant in a biological, psycological and social way. This research describes the influence of the Breastfeeding on the formation of the emotional bond and on the psychomotor development in brestfeeded children and not brestfeeded ones between the age of 6 and 8 months of the Mario Correa Rengifo hospital of the city of Cali. This high-quality research has a descriptive value and is a multiple case study type, with a cross-section, where techniques of data collection such as interviews, observations and the functional diagnosis of development method of Munich is used. It is expected to find the way in which this feeding type has an influence on infants and if there are any differences in the formation of the emotional bond and in the psychomotor development of breastfeeded and not breastfeeded children.
