Sumario:The following reflection intends to identify characteristics of conceptual formations in democratic coexistence and democracy for Peace, related to learning to live, share situations, be together, recognize the diversity of educational subjects and locate specific tensions of educational establishments, in the understanding and complexity of training for the exercise of citizenship, related to the development of capacities and its consolidation as a device for the democratic exercise of coexistence; which should contribute to a political position that involves all subjects in the construction of competencies (cognitive, communicative and integrative) and socio-emotional skills, in the configuration as ethical citizens capable of sharing and relating to others and the other, separating widely of programmatic actions to address and eliminate the conflict.
