Sumario: | The present document tams to analyze the different aspects that are related to the education of young people in Colombia, as well as an analysis of the conception of the State and modern capitalism in the application of influential proposals in the formation. It also collects the epistemological thought of some researchers of the subject who have focused on the concern for the structural failures of the educations system and the possible reforms that must be proposed within the system to make it more competitive, before the phenomenon of globalization and more equitable in social terms. The criticism that is made to the education system in Colombia is not to delegitimize it, on the contrary, it is to find its failings and its strengths in favor of a construction in the thought of the political and academic reform of the country. This document only summarizes the critical and most important factors that underlie the social policy of education, as well as formulates essential approaches to equate the problems of education under different concepts.
