description | This paper presents a hermeneutic analysis on the way the specialized current literature addresses the linkages between feminist and environmental criticisms in the study of feminist and environmental struggles in Latin America. To describe the ways in which these linkages are recognized, described and explained in current analyzes, we present five bridge-concepts: life sustain- ability, body-territory, defense of life, ethics of care, and interdependence. With the analysis of these five concepts, we aim to contribute with a diagnosis regarding the ways in which feminist and environmental critiques are presented: as different or separated; with some level of interconnection or hierarchy; or as dependent on each other. The goal of our work is not only to present a detailed research inventory, but to make a critical-hermeneutic exercise on the ways in which the objects of study are constructed and approached from the theoretical and analytical tools that we call concepts-bridges, especially on the socio-environmental struggles in Argentina. |
