description | From the perspective of women who participate in the territorial struggles of Famatina Valley (La Rioja province, Argentina) and from my own authorial perspective situated as part of them, this article refers to the ways that patriarchy and extractivism are articulated in our territory. In this text I intend to trace some answers to the question that guides my ongoing doctoral thesis work: What are the ways in which patriarchy and extractivism articulate be- tween one another, in the case of the territorial conflicts of La Rioja province? On this occasion, I offer some reflections based on the first phase of analysis of eleven interviews that took place during the year 2022, in which I talked to two groups of women gathered in assemblies or who participate in these struggles in an independent way: some of them are fighting the effects of pollution provoked by a tannery in Nonogasta, and others are resisting to the many attempts to install mega-mining projects in the mountains of Famatina, as well as to the advancement of other extractive policies in the province. The aim of the study is to comprehend the ways in which these women, as epis- temic subjects, think and experience the articulations between patriarchy and extractivism. The analysis is dialogical, in which I put in conversation the knowledge that emerge from these women with the theoretical perspectives of my research, which are mainly rooted in Latin American feminisms. More- over, the methodology used for the analysis includes working with narratives. |

The analysis is dialogical, in which I put in conversation the knowledge that emerge from these women with the theoretical perspectives of my research, which are mainly rooted in Latin American feminisms. More- over, the methodology used for the analysis includes working with narratives.
