Sumario:This article is a fragment of an ethnographic thesis which seeks to understand the uses and senseattributed to international money transfers linked to women’s/mothers’ plans and expectations.A specific family economy is analyzed, for which the uncertainty of life gives rise to clevernessand expectations about diverse aid which generates exchange with different people. These distinctaids allow a redress to a deficit economy, and generates new expectations.
