Este trabajo muestra cómo a partir del deporte, un colectivo de mujeres identifica, a través de relatos y recuerdos compartidos, los modos para subvertir ciertos lugares naturalizados de desigualdad y subordinación. A partir de un trabajo etnográfico de sus movimientos dentro de un escenario tan fijo y preestablecido como es “la tradición futbolera”, se acompaña el proceso de conformación del primer equipo de fútbol femenino barrial. Será a través del análisis de sus propias narrativas donde se evidencian los procesos de resignificación que transformaron ciertos contextos de recuerdos personales y privados en textos comunes y compartidos.
