Sumario:This article begins with an analysis of the dialogic relationship between the author and Francisca Andi, a storyteller from the Napa-Quichua people, to reflect upon the character of ethnographic work. The author examines a double narrative that leads to other voices and to a diversity of interpretative possibilities from the point of view of anthropology and also of indigenous women. The main argument is about a shared reflexivity in which both sides actively participate in the interpretation of cultures. The text also shows how Francisca uses memory and her memory narrative to construct her identity as a Napa-Quichua woman.
