Sumario:The Neoliberal Structural Adjustment introduced in Bolivian Law have facilitated the appropiation of the Hidrocarbon Resources by the transnational oil companies. These companies invade indigenos territories and protected areas. Their activities generate serious environmental conflicts with the local communities. The construction of the Bolivia-Brazil, Cuiabá and Gasyrg gas pipelines as well as the popular resistance to the exportation of gas to the USA illustrates how the people organize themselves to resist the pillage of the oil companies. The popular mobilizations of the “Gas War” in October have not yet finished, as the gas continues to be in foreign hands.
